Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.

In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."

Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
