AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected AoT Crossover for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre crossover event that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Uncovered
According to the official release, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the darkness." The narrative features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the duo with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a secret sect.
The questline concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Metamorphoses
The trailer highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Additional Features
Players who successfully complete the mission will receive an exclusive katana in addition to numerous artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
